[Important] Change for U.S. Customers: Import Tariff Exemption Ends August 29, 2025

Starting August 29, 2025, the U.S. government will abolish the de minimis rule, which previously exempted orders under $800 from import tariffs. From this date, all shipments to the U.S. will be subject to tariffs, regardless of order value.

Our store’s response:

  • All U.S. orders will ship under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid).Tariffs and related fees will be calculated at checkout and prepaid, so you will not be asked to pay duties upon delivery.
  • A FedEx clearance fee will also be included in the shipping cost.

Tariff rates:

  • Rates are determined by the country of origin of each product, not by Japan (the shipping country).
  • Example:
    • Made in China → approx. 30%
    • Made in Japan → around 15%
  • Exact rates are calculated using Avalara’s cross-border compliance system automatically.

We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation with these changes. For more details, please see our Custom Duty Policy
